A Legacy of Compassion, Peace, and Global Commitment
Bangladesh, as a developing nation, continues to face challenges of poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation, and violations of human and women’s rights. These realities not only hinder economic progress but also disturb the very harmony and peace essential to human dignity.
Amid these challenges, the World Peace & Economic Development Organization (WPEDO) was founded as a beacon of hope — a unique and dynamic movement dedicated to promoting peace, love, and human rights across the world.
Since its establishment, WPEDO has earned remarkable recognition and respect for its integrity and impact. We have received spontaneous support from distinguished professionals and visionaries — national professors, physicians, engineers, technocrats, educationists, and social leaders — whose expertise and faith have strengthened our foundation and shaped our success.
My late husband, Founder and Chairman Sher-E-Khwaja, devoted his life to the service of humanity. His tireless efforts and unwavering faith in the power of compassion transformed WPEDO into an organization that touches lives not only in Bangladesh but far beyond its borders.
