Healthcare Programs
Healing with Compassion, Serving Humanity, Restoring Hope
Since its founding in 1981, the World Peace & Economic Development Organization (WPEDO) has been devoted to delivering free and accessible healthcare to those who need it most.
Guided by compassion and the spirit of humanitarian service, WPEDO’s healthcare initiatives aim to ensure that no one is denied medical care because of poverty, distance, or circumstance.
Global Medical Collaboration
WPEDO’s healthcare programs are supported by a dedicated network of highly qualified national and international physicians, surgeons, and medical professors who serve voluntarily as part of our mission to promote human welfare.
Together, they provide free medical check-ups, consultations, diagnostic services, clinical treatment, and essential medicine distribution, with a special focus on mothers, children, and the physically challenged.
Emergency Relief and Humanitarian Response
In times of crisis, WPEDO has consistently stood at the frontlines of humanitarian aid. During major floods, cyclones, and natural disasters in 1984, 1987, 1988, 1991, 1998, and 2007, WPEDO teams provided urgent relief including cooked and dry food, medicines, drinking water, clothing, and medical aid to thousands of affected families across Bangladesh.
Health Awareness and Preventive Care
Beyond direct medical treatment, WPEDO organises public health awareness campaigns across various regions of Bangladesh — educating communities on hygiene, nutrition, maternal health, vaccination, and disease prevention.
Through these efforts, we aim to build a healthier, informed, and resilient society that understands the value of well-being as the foundation of peace.
