Children’s Rights
Protecting Innocence, Nurturing Futures, Inspiring Hope
Children are the heart of humanity’s future — and at the World Peace & Economic Development Organization (WPEDO), we believe that every child deserves to grow in an environment of love, safety, and opportunity.
From the very beginning, WPEDO has placed child protection and development at the center of its mission, working tirelessly to ensure that every child enjoys the fundamental rights to health, nutrition, education, and protection from abuse or exploitation.
Safeguarding the Rights and Wellbeing of Every Child
WPEDO has implemented numerous programs to end cruelty, neglect, and exploitation of children and to promote their healthy mental and physical growth. Our initiatives are guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and aim to create a society where no child is deprived of care, dignity, or hope.
Food, Shelter, and Education for Orphans and Street Children
Since its inception, WPEDO has provided food, clothing, and educational materials to children residing in orphanages across Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Sylhet, Comilla, Chittagong, Faridpur, and other districts of Bangladesh.
We also extend financial assistance to orphanages for infrastructural development, helping them provide safer and more nurturing environments.
Education, Healthcare & Civil Rights
Our ongoing mission is to provide free schooling, healthcare, and basic civil rights to every child, especially those living in poverty and vulnerability. Through WPEDO’s child-centered programs, over 100,000 children have already benefited from educational support, medical aid, and community empowerment initiatives.
Our Promise to the Next Generation
Every child deserves a fair start in life — free from hunger, fear, or discrimination.
WPEDO remains steadfast in its promise to protect, educate, and empower children across Bangladesh and beyond, ensuring that they inherit a world defined by peace, justice, and opportunity.
