Children's Right

WPEDO has taken numerous steps to protect children's rights and ensure their access to healthcare, proper nutrition, education and to work towards stopping cruelty towards children for their healthy mental and physical growth.

From its inception WPEDO has been providing assistance in terms of food, clothing, educational materials for children living in many orphanages in the districts of Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Sylhet, Comilla, Chittagong, Faridpur among other places in Bangladesh. Financial assistance is also being provided to these orphanages for infrastructural development. Similar kind of assistance is also being provided for the street children, who are involved in the worst form of child labor at risky jobs. We plan to work on new programs to ensure access to electricity at the remote areas by generation energy through solar power harvesting. Our main aims and objectives for children are to provide relentlessly free schooling, medical treatment and other basic civil rights. Under several initiatives of WPEDO more than 100,000 children were brought under the services of this organization for the poor and vulnerable children in Bangladesh .
